Sharing some thoughts from Our Midlife Experiment on the three tools that have transformed not just the experiment itself, but pretty much everything in my life - and in the experiences I’ve shared with others.
Curiosity. Compassion. Comedy. (A huge thanks to Suzy Reading for that last one!) And of course - being playful, being light, not taking it all so seriously.
It’s about giving ourselves permission. Liberating ourselves from perfectionism, from following someone else’s path, from the pressure to get it right first time.
I’d love to hear from you:
What feels liberating or empowering to you right now - something you could experiment with, even in a small way?
When you’ve tried something new, what’s helped you stick with it - and what’s got in the way?
